Privacy notice

Rainkernel Technologies Private Limited ("Rainkernel", "we") is an AI engineering company registered in Hyderabad, India. This notice explains what we collect through rainkernel.com and in the course of our work, and how we handle it.

What this site collects

The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts and loads nothing from third parties (see the cookie policy for what is kept in your browser's local storage and how to verify it). Demo videos are hosted on this site and load only when you press play. Two forms send data to our own servers, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region:

Contact form — your name, work email, company (optional), the topic you chose and your message, plus the time and a network address hash used only to stop abuse. We use it to reply to you.
Readiness Score "email me this result" — your email and your eight answers, so we can send the result and, if you ask, follow up.

The score itself is computed in your browser; nothing is sent unless you use the email option. Submissions are kept for 24 months and then deleted, unless an engagement follows or you ask us to delete them sooner. Request logs at our content-delivery edge are kept for 30 days.

Email and booking

If you email us or book a call, we hold your name, email address, company and the content of the conversation for as long as it lasts, and for up to 24 months afterwards for follow-up.

Calls are booked on Microsoft Bookings, part of the Microsoft 365 tenant that also runs our email: the booking page is operated by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and what you enter there lands in our own calendar, nowhere else. Nothing from that page is embedded in this site.

Client data during engagements

During a sprint or build, client data stays in the client's environment. We do not train models on client data, we do not retain copies after an engagement ends except as the statement of work requires, and we delete working copies within 30 days of a written request. Access is limited to named engineers under a non-disclosure agreement.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent, by writing to privacy@rainkernel.com. We respond within 30 days. We process personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for clients in the EU or UK, under the GDPR and UK GDPR as a processor acting on the client's instructions.

Changes

We will post any change to this notice on this page with a new effective date.
