Rainkernel

Accessibility statement

Built to WCAG 2.2 AA, tested on every page.

Effective 3 October 2026 · v1.0

Our standard

Rainkernel Technologies Private Limited wants everyone to be able to read this site and use its two forms, whatever device, assistive technology or connection they have. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site.

What we test, and how often

  • Every page is checked with the axe-core accessibility engine on a desktop browser and on a phone-sized viewport before each release; the release does not ship if a check fails.
  • Every page has one H1, a descriptive title, a meta description and a canonical address; headings are in order; images carry alternative text or are marked decorative.
  • Text and interface colours meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio in both the light and the dark theme, including the status pills and the severity labels in the sample report.
  • Everything works with a keyboard: the menus open with Enter or Space and close with Escape, focus is visible, and the mobile drawer traps nothing.
  • Demo videos are captioned (WebVTT) and never autoplay; animations respect your "reduce motion" setting.
  • The forms label every field, announce errors next to the field and in a live region, and work without JavaScript.

Known limits

  • The sample Evidence Report PDF is generated from the web page and carries tagged headings and reading order, but the web page remains the better experience for screen readers.
  • The demo videos have captions but no audio description; they are also described in text beside each one.

Tell us

If something on this site is in your way, write to hello@rainkernel.com with the page address and what happened. We reply within one working day and fix what we can in the next release; if we cannot fix it quickly, we will tell you the workaround and the date.

Technical notes

The site is static HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript, built with Astro and served from GitHub Pages. It relies on semantic HTML, ARIA only where HTML has no equivalent, and no third-party scripts. The test suite that enforces the checks above is in the site's repository.
